What is Rapéh?

Rapéh is a sacred shamanic powder medicine, which is pronounced ‘ha-peh’ in English. Also referred to as ‘hape’, ‘hapi’ or ‘rapay'.

Rapéh is a very rare, sacred, powerful, precious, profoundly healing, and cleansing miracle medicine. Types of Rapéh are made in a very sacred and labor-intensive process and consist of various Amazonian medicinal plants, trees, leaves, seeds, and other sacred ingredients. 

Each different type of Rapéh has different vibrations, notes, qualities, subtleties, and very different effects on the energetic field.

Furthermore, after you develop a deeper relationship with each type of Rapéh, you can ask any questions or hold specific intentions for each sacred session. 

What does a Rapéh Ceremony include?

Intention is key. Rapéh is a powerful medicine that can help you let go of bad energies and past traumas and, more generally, it helps you hit a spiritual “reset button” in your life that physically and emotionally detoxes you. But, ultimately, medicines like Rapéh are tools to help carry out an intention—they are a means to an end, not an end themselves. Powder blends and pipes are the tangible materials needed for a successful Rapéh ceremony, but the most important tool, is your intention.

A Rapéh ceremony offers you a unique opportunity to reconnect with your higher self and tap into an inner well of energy, peace, and willpower. If you want to use Rapéh to its full medicinal potential, you have to carry that momentum beyond the moment to integrate your intention into action. Whether it’s physical, emotional, or mental healing you’re looking for, your intention is further strengthened by the energy of the divine connection you share with your shaman healer applying the Rapéh. 

Once your intentions are set, Rapéh will be applied involving two breaths, each of which shoots powder deep into the two nasal cavities. Each breath is symbolic—the first breath through the left nostril symbolizes the feminine side, and the second breath through the right nostril represents the masculine side. 

For the person receiving the Rapéh, each of these breaths is followed by an immediate sharp blow to the sinuses and head that clears the nasal cavity, purges the bowels, and ultimately leaves the person feeling calmer, grounded, and revitalized.

What are the effects of Rapéh ? 

Rapéh is a powerful way to re-align and open all your chakras, improve your grounding, stimulate detoxification, release any sickness on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels, ease pain, open-up the third eye, release stuck energy, de-calcify the pineal gland, clear any mental confusion, release any negative thoughts or negative energies, remove any entities, connect you to your divine breath, and elevate your connection with Universal Spirit.

After Rapéh is received, purging, vomiting, or diarrhea is common. While sometimes uncomfortable, this helps your body purge itself of unnecessary toxins, which is an important part of the cleansing process.
