If you are a first-time client, we require the following New Client Information & Informed Consent, Liability Waiver, & Release Form be completed and submitted ahead of your scheduled session. 

Please follow the steps below: 

1. Complete and submit the New Client Information Form.
2. Complete and submit the Informed Consent, Liability Waiver, and Release Form. 
3. Once both forms have been submitted, please read through the Important Guidelines below providing helpful tips on how to get the most from your session, and to ensure your experience is truly one-of-a-kind and beneficial to you.

The following are some helpful guidelines to ensure your experience is truly one-of-a-kind and beneficial to you. 

1. Please be on-time. Time is a valuable commodity. Often, a first session will be around 90 minutes because it is a new experience. Typically, the practitioner and the recipient need to debrief afterwards about impressions received during the session. Being on-time affords both the recipient and practitioner the opportunity to enter the experience in a calm, un-rushed manner, which allows for a greater flow of energy.
2. Water is an absolute must. Drinking plenty of water, particularly after the session, is immensely beneficial. Many individuals receiving Reiki and energy healing will go through a cleanse that will last up to a week. The intake of plenty of water aids in the cleansing process.
3. Limit caffeine. Please limit your caffeine intake the day of your appointment. Caffeine can make it difficult for you to relax and get into a restive, receptive energy.
4. Wear comfortable clothing and no jewelry. Nothing distracting should be worn, as you want to focus on relaxation during the process. Layers may be desirable; recipients of Reiki will often report feeling a range of ice cold to burning heat from the practitioner's hands. Socks are sometimes helpful, especially if the recipient is uncomfortable with having their feet touched.
5. Hands-on Healing. Please understand that typical sessions are done through hands on the recipient's body. If you are uncomfortable with being touched, please tell you practitioner. Though direct contact is the most typical way a session operates, it can be conducted without touch.
6. Relax and BREATHE! To really take full advantage of a session, the recipient must be relaxed. When the recipient is able to open their mind to the healing power of the Universe (God's Power), the miracle of healing can take place.

Please be aware that according to Utah licensure, Reiki and Energy Healing are a "spiritual practice". Receiving a Reiki and energy healing session should not preclude you from seeking out typical Western doctors and medicines. When under the care of a physician, you should always inform them of your receiving Reiki and energy healing, as it can effect the dosing of medications. This being said, because of the spiritual nature, it can have a profound effect on mental and emotional issues which often precipitate physical disease.
